In Tyrnalia, the party met with Lyklor and Cori, where they asked some questions about the hag. Additionally, Lyklor gave them a sample of the mineral that was being bought in hag’s town as a remedy for the disease. The party went to the Hunter’s District and managed to recruit a guide who, along with his 5 year old daughter and 3 16-20 year old grandsons, offered to guide the party to the hag lair for 14 gold (1 gold per person, 4 days of travel, + 5 for the raft so 4x4+5 which equals 14 gold). The party traveled for 2 days in the swamp until they reached a place in the swamp where the rats, snakes, spiders, and birds were getting much more dense and they started seeing strange things in the swamp such as crude dolls sitting in trees, wooden idols made of driftwood floating in the swamp water, and other such strange things. The guide landed the raft and told the party it was an hour’s walk from there. Getting closer, Asher and Thokoli failed to notice a cyclops until it was 3-40 feet away. The party followed a cyclops Asher bribed with 20 gold to find “Mother”. The cyclops took them to a campsite. Filthy Bonnie appeared and asked for tribue. Helios said he wanted to deal make a deal for information. Bonnie turned invisible and fled to the north into a cave. The party followed her into the hags’ lair. Following her into the lair, Helios offered her the greed dragon claw [Meta: a young green dragon claw would be the larger a grizzly’s paw, so bigger than your head.] There was a larger hag at a cauldron, three more cyclopes, and another hag in the water to the north. With lots of crates and boxes and the stew, there were two caves and some curtains off to the northwest. The party asked questions of the hags, with bardman wanting information on “How to rid Tyrnalia of the disease”, with him offering his beads of force in exchange for the payment. The hag agreed, and shook his hand binding them with fey magic. She then told him that the way to rid Tyrnalia of the disease was to destroy it, and the people within. After, the party seemed hesitant to make any more deals. They bickered amongst themselves, trying to decide to take another deal with the hags to receive more information. At one point, Helios said [something like], “Let’s go, we don’t need to talk to these hags or tell them about those coming for them.” At this point, the hags began bickering in Sylvan. They talked about how it probably wasn’t the Yuan-Ti coming for them, but possibly the couple to the east. They said it was possible the couple found out they were getting the cure from the couple’s lizardfolk, and they could be angry about it. Bardman passed his deception check so, as far as he could tell, the hags did not know he was eavesdropping on them. Bardman feigned anger at Helios and the others for not being willing to haggle with the hags, and stomped off angrily then sending a message to Helios that it was time to leave. As they left, three of the cyclopses followed them. They got over halfway back to the boat when bardman summoned an overgrowth of plants around them and the party fled. The cyclopses got angry and began flinging boulders and logs at them. Gillia was downed but Bardman brought her back up and they fled, leaving the cyclopses in the dust. They party travelled back to Tyrnalia with Helios dawning his cloak of the manta and goggles at one point, going underwater and talking to a lizardfolk. The lizardfolk confirmed that there were some feuding lizardfolk tribes off to the east.
