38 years old newbie LFG

Hi!    I'm fairly new to D&D, I've played a couple of months so far. I'd like to find a newbie friendly group that would play once a week, ideally not untill too late at night. I'm on eastern standard time if that helps (I live in Quebec city, Canada). I speak french but I have a good enough english to play games in english. Howdy! I've had a player bow out of the campaign this morning, we all wish the player the best and are sad to see them go but the adventure goes on. So I am putting the call out to all adventures. The campaign is a playthrough of The Tales From the Yawning Portal. Currently we are in The Forge of Fury. I try to run a pretty easy going session, with a balance of rp and combat. The bad news is that the game starts at 3pm today! So if interested in joining a great group of people here is what you need to know. Character creation. level 3. max hit dice for the first 3 levels. max starting gold or starting equipment options. (I'll give you some other stuff when you join) Race and class from the players hand book. If you would like something else please ask, if I own it or have access to it then probably will be allowed.
