Team meets their first dungeon boss! The PCs, down in the depths of the abandoned Otter mines have accidentally summoned a monstrous elemental infused with the magic of the void and the blood of slaughtered victims; a Blood Elemental! After taking over 100 points of damage, the elemental decides to heal and punch a party member, downing the little Otter companion of Castiel, Felix in one critical punch while also healing 60 points of damage back! From this, however, Ava the Cleric heals Felix and brings him some well-needed hit-points when suddenly,she is downed by some mysterious force actually trying to rise and consume her from the blood pool of the Elemental's fists had left behind; dropping her to 1 Strength. As the party begins to turn in for the kill, the Blood Elemental teleports itself on top of Ava's not-moving body and suddenly begins to fight a form that rises from her body. A terrible monster, somewhat humanoid but with a reddish goop covering its body instead of skin and razor sharp teeth and claws, it pounces the Elemental and they begin a horribly one-sided battle as the group attempts to attack it while it is distracted and help their downed companion who is now armor-less and barely breathing... The new blood monster drives the Elemental back into another room; its claws and teeth tearing literal chunks of its body and seemingly absorbing it. As the blood elemental begins to fade, it lets out a horrible screech and absorbs its leftover essence. Bazil, their other cleric and dwarf of the Order of Fred, picks up Ava and casts Sanctuary to protect the party as the creature begins to approach their location, its jaws dripping with blood and sniffing in their direction. Right before it looks like its about to pounce them, a shadowy set of arrows chunk its its shoulders, burning away its cursed flesh like melting butter. It roars a challenge at the newfound being who suddenly materializes through a wall, firing arrow after arrow which slam into the monster with frightening accuracy. The monster charges the mysterious shadow and they pummel through the wall but instead of causing damage, they phase through it and continue a horrible fight through the mine shafts and tracks above the party's location... Healing Ava of her mysterious bite wounds, Bazil and others comfort her while Krug'Mar and his summoned warriors along with Z attempt to see what is happening with their mysterious savior and the horrible monstrocity...
