The party backtracked to meet back up with Bakra, Arata, and Volandra. There Mira Gagokaxe, Urd’s two sisters, and Urd’s brother rejoined with Bakra. Meanwhile Volandra joined the party, Arata decided to go back to Shame of Mabub to rejoin Kaaska. The party made their way to Dravens’ Port. On the way, they stopped at the place indicated by the goblin maps to have an underground stronghold or topside entrance of some sort. They discovered an underground entrance where a brown bear had made her lair. Rurrick talked to her, and Ron used stone shape to permanently close the wooden doors going further down. The bear told Rurrick that goblins had come out of one of the doors a couple days before. The party continued towards Dravens’ Port, stopping Orcsett to inquire on goblin activity and warn the sheriff of a possible goblin invasion. Many of their people were in Dravens’ Port helping out. The sheriff said she would send for aid from Weaghd’s Regret. The party made it closer to Dravens’ Port, beginnning to see more signs of activity the closer they got. Stopping the last night before reaching the city, they could see dragons in the air. Rurrick’s Scrying: Day 1: Behyla - No effect. Day 2: Oron - No effect. Day 3: Mathius Shadowhorn - Shackled and hanging on a wall in a damp, dank cell with 20+ other slaves/prisoners. Mathius was a prisoner of hobgoblins. Rurrick recognized the stonework as belonging to an ancient civilization in Vinnar, the realm to the west ruled by a black dragon. Hobgoblins control the north part of the realm, in what is known as the Vemk Empire. Day 4: Jendra Faine - In a chamber with other Dragon Knights and a couple of Dree Mages, they immediately noticed the invisible scrying eye and failed the first attempt at dispelling it, with Rurrick then cancelling the spell. Day 5: Father Bigmug - Father Bigmug, alongside Eldon and Twigg, were making their way through a dense forest overlooking a large lake, with a giant towering mountain before them. Day 6: Rurrick got drunk and didn’t scry. Day 7: Breschka - Seeing the dragons, Rurrick scryed on Breschka, who was in the royal chambers with Arieth and several emissaries/diplomats from other realms. During their 10 minute conversation, Rurrick ascertained that Oron still hadn’t been heard from, and Queen Lightcrown was there visiting for diplomatic/peace talks. The party arrived in Dravens’ Port. Arriving in the city, the party saw humanoids from around the province and beyond, including quite a few minotaurs from the Free City of Mozmon. They stopped by Urd’s cousin’s alchemy shop, but it was currently closed. They made their way through the city in the early morning (around 8-9 am), attracting a group of followers as they traveled. Above them, the green dragons in the air seemed to be keeping a close eye on them. Approaching Castle Dravens’ Port, the party had around a hundred people following them. They entered the castle, being given a contingent of two dozen guards. In the castle courtway were several large tents with different flags/banners posted outside. They saw a tent of Shevorth, one from Indra, one from Gravelback, a few smaller ones from Thrinegrove, and a massive tent with the flags of Dree hanging outside. The party approached the main hall and entered.
