Adding Tokens from field of play to Library

I recently reopened a game I’m preparing to run - one which I haven’t touched in quite a while.  I had been working with a big sheet of art assets, dragging a few dozen tokens out from the pro and basic sets and positioning them in arrays as a sort of inspiration board.  Now, after returning, I realized I actually should have added a great deal of them to my Library, since I intended many of them as my final images for many important NPCs. I guess I got too excited/ out of practice, because I took zero steps to remember the names of the various tokens I chose.  The end result is that, even though I need them all in my Library to preinstall them on several pages each, it’s looking like a real pain to reassemble all of the tokens from their multitude of sets. So the question is: do we have a way to reverse-search token names, or to add existing tokens to your working asset Library?  Forgive me if I’m missing something obvious, but I sure am stumped on this one.  Thanks!

I can’t think of a good way to go backwards. You’ll probably just have to search in reasonable names and look through your reaults to find them. If you know the artist, you can often filter down based on that.

The other question is, why do you need them in your library? Unless you're planning on manipulating the image via an API script, you can just copy the tokens between pages and keep using the marketplace version.

Unless you're planning on manipulating the image via an API script, you can just copy the tokens between pages and keep using the marketplace version. It's because I have a lot of big story-heavy scenes with many assortments of NPCs.  I've got a murder mystery plot with multiple suspects to interrogate, and I prefer to scroll through my organized list of names to set up the scene, rather than refer back to a sprawling sheet and copy/paste.  For example, if I need Mason, Pierce, and Florence in the hospital; Florence, Louis and Beatrice in the church; and just Pierce for the dungeon, it's much easier to click and drag from the names than it is to swap between pages.

Ok, so, you can simply select the tokens you want to use for a given character and set it as the default token for the character, then you can just drag the character out.

Well, dang, I didn't realize you could do that by clicking on the name.  I had been clicking on the portrait image icon and wondering why dragging it out seemed to be useless.  This helps a lot - thanks!

It's been a long time since I took the intro tour, but if this is not there, it should be. Many, many people stumble over this when coming to Roll20.
