[LFP][Modos 2] Weekly "dungeon crawl" with Metroids, MST

Join a team of frontier investigators who are diverted from their normal mission to respond to a distress call from an orbital terraformer. It should be a quick diversion - just find out what part they need and report back home. There shouldn't be any space pirates, since terraformers aren't in high demand. And definitely no metroids... Game time is flexible, since my schedule is opening up soon. We'll see what the group can agree on. If you haven't played Modos 2 don't worry - it's easy, free, and runs great on Roll20. We currently have a science officer and security officer. The medical officer is a blank sheet (mostly), and you can take captain or engineering specialist, although those two already have character names.
Report: Day one: Dr. Evan Trusder of The Aquila: Play as you read the report. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVuXqiGfHsk The captain and the crew went out to answer a distress signal coming from the Ubiquitous(a Mother ship on the orbit of Planet SX4028) we landed but the captain ordered me to stay put and wait for their return in case of an emergency. I waited for 15 until I felt a tremor that shook the ship. I contacted the Captain but our communication signals were interfered with. " ...(static)...Doc...(static)...commo...(static)...at..." Then the lights of the Mother ship went out but a flicker remained. I couldn't continue without my flashlight. I suited up and went to our ship's airlock but access was only available to the Ship's captain and engineers. I was stuck here... (What do I do? The captain is far from the ship without communication. What if they were attacked? Are they still alive?) I returned to the ship and accessed the security cameras and spotted the remains of a ship only a wing and an engine remained. What had happened? Who is attacking the station? Shortly after, another tremor hit and the ship went into autopilot and engaged in defensive maneuvers and I was thrown across the ships bridge. "I need to take control of the ship. And do something? (I can pilot this no problem, but I can't just leave the captain and the crew... What do I do?) I lifted off the mother ship and flew away from the station to a safe distance and watched the mother ship. it seemed like... Is the Mother Ship about to crash on to the planet?! "... Oh no... Captain!!!" Stay tuned for what happens on the next episode of Metroid: Aquilas.
