Short recap: Gained +1 silver dragon ally Found out 1 ally is a bronze dragon (who you guys met in the 1st or 2nd game of the campaign) Discovered drow want to meet with Urd Found out Thrinegrove gives two shits about Dravens and its people Witnessed Anna murder the local nobles No info on Behyla or Oron Indra diplomats stay in Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansions Queen Lightcrown called the meeting The party arrived with Horn, Uklak (dwarven wizard), Kalrithni, Lindal, and Volandra. The party went off to go meet Rirre of the Aarakocra Federation. On the way a drow snuck a note in between Urd’s belt and his tunic, successfully doing so without anyone noticing. An eagle looking figure, Rirre the Loud Screech was also accompanied by Dekirk the Throat Slasher, a hawk looking bird of Ailekk’s tribe and an owl-looking creature called Rarri the Swift Wing. Rirre was covered in silver-tipped feathers. She asked Urd of rumors of war, and said that she had sent a good 100 warriors to Bonehammer borders, in case they are needed. She also divulged that the Dree had been enslaving Aarakocra lately, and it needed to stop. Either the Dree would stop, she would have to move their people to a new home, or they would have to go to war. Rurrick made a comment about the Battle of Kiernard and how it didn’t work out well for them, and Rirre said she had heard stories from her great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather and grandmother. Rurrick and Ron sensed she was lying. After Rurrick stopped, Ron cast dispel magic on her to no effect. Ron then looked at her and recalled tales of shape shifting silver dragons who would often take humanoid form and help those lesser races in need. He made a comment to her and she approached Ron, grasping his forearm softly and saying in draconic, “My brass brothers and sisters were wise to send you.” [META/CHANGE: Indra is home to brass dragons, not copper dragons, that was my mistake]. Afterwards the party went to the Thrinegrove tent with two scary looking archers out front. On their way they noticed military looking hobgoblins entering Queen Lightcrown’s tent. Rurrick and Cassius entered the tent, with Rurrick asking the ancient looking diplomat for word on the druid council. The diplomat said Rurrick would need to look in southeast Thrinegrove to find them. He then announced that he was pulling Thrinegrove troops and support out of Dravens, and they would remain neutral in all diplomatic affairs. He then named Rurrick the Thrinegrove Diplomat, although Rurrick would have no power or authority to seek their help or commit Thrinegrove support to anyone. The then announced they were leaving. The party went to the Indra tent, withRon changing into an upper-level government official named Dingleberry. He went into the tent, attempting to bluff the sandy-blonde haired and scarred Pixi who threatened him with a battleaxe. Sir Vatcher was there too, but the two eventually called out Ron on his deception and attempt to usurp diplomat status from Pixi, who then freely offered it of Ron wanted it. The party then went to go find Anna, traveling the streets of Dravens’ Port and attracting the attention of a crowd along the way. Getting to Archduke Victor Ironholm’s mansion, Anna met with them and warned them of her upcoming reckoning with the Archduke and his cohorts, saying she’d watched enough of his oppression of the lower class and working with enemies of the people. Anna then confronted the Archduke, stating the reasons for her actions in a threatening tone. The party watched as she used “Reverse Gravity” on the Archduke his guards, then changed into a mammoth and began trampling all of them down. As new guards arrived, she changed into a giant eagle and flew away after saying to Rurrick that she would meet them at the druid council in Thrinegrove. The party stuck around and answered questions to the guards, then went back to the castle. In the castle, they searched the now abandoned prison where Behyla made his home. Rurrick found some secret passages to other parts of the castle, Ron found secret drawers and cubbies that had all been empty, Urd found burned stacks of papers and maps. Ron and Rurrick did put two and two together that those pages definitely counted as “personal possessions” for the purposes of scry. At some point along the way, Ron had used Sending on Oron with no response, and Rurrick attempted to scry on Behyla with no response. Ron’s message to Oron was: “Are you ok? This is Ron. Let Raffolk Slayers know your status. We are in Dravensport.” The party met with Ma Thornberry, Kaleem, and Breschka. They talked about the hag covens, the “Lonely Socket” coven led by Wretched Wilma Sprigwrangler, who was driven out of Dree and now seems to have it out for them. Breschka made it clear she was unhappy about Anna and expressed her disapproval. She was also irritated and let down that Thrinegrove was going to no longer support her, however she had allies from Shevorth who had committed troops to help her defend Dravens. Urd asked about what the point of the talks were, and Brescka said she didn’t know, Queen Lightcrown had called them and they would meet the following day. She said that if it came to a fight, Rirre wasn’t the only dragon on their side and she called in Feng the Orc, who then turned into an adult Bronze dragon who said we was ready to fight the forces of evil. In addition, Breschka said there were drow diplomats there from the under-realms who wanted to meet with the Bonehammer diplomat about something. She also mentioned the hags might be allies against Dree. Urd read his note from the drow, and it was a meeting time and place in Dravens’ Port and a time for that evening. [/end]
