Character sheet and Compendium

A friend of mine just created a game and cannot get the full character sheet for 5th ed D&D with the Compendium linked to it  in his game. 

On the campaign page, check game settings.  There's an option to enable the compendium for a few systems (5e, Pathfinder, Dungeon World). .

Right. That was done, but he's still getting an older character sheet. 

Which sheet did he choose?  OGL, Shaped, or Community or is it a custom sheet?

Doesn't the OGL have a toggle for PC/NPC? Is it possible that he is looking at the less-full featured NPC view?

you have to fill in all of the info. He cannot import it from Compendium. 

So the character sheet displays, but dragging an object (like a spell or equipment, not a class or race) onto the sheet from the compendium does not work. You also say he is getting an older sheet. That part just sounds weird. Is this a brand new campaign? Does it happen again if he tries creating a temporary new campaign? Can you or he post a screenshot from the campaign page showing the choices (they are one after the other) just to make sure there is no miscommunication? Also, what browser is he using?

Not certain on many of those questions. It's "Woodlands of Sorrow" and it's a brand new game. 

Not sure how much can be answered on incomplete info. Can he post here?

Keith, if you are familiar with the OGL sheet... maybe the GM can send an invite and promote you to co-gm?
