You departed Waterdeep on hippogriffs
once more, this time to head north to the icy wastes of the Sea of Moving Ice.
Book Two, Chapter 1.2 (session 32, 23 rd November
2017)
You flew to Luskan, the City of Sails, across a land showing the
signs of war and destruction, farms, villages and towns beneath you were
burning or abandoned, smoke often filled the horizon. On your brief halts in
Leilon and Neverwinter there were reports of dragon attacks and Cult led
uprisings throughout the North.
A quick stopover at Castle Naerytar
allowed Naergon to play with the Farseer and attempt to get a sighting on the
potential iceberg lair that Maccath the Crimson mentioned in her last despatch.
You finally arrived in Luskan after
12 days (29 th Nightal) where you were subject to a concerted attack
by Cult agents in the streets. Unlike the lacklustre attack in Waterdeep this
was a serious threat and you were in no doubt as to the authenticity of the
Cult’s agents.
Nevertheless you made it to the docks and met up with Captain
Lerustah and boarded the Frostskimmer. Early on the morning of
30 th Nightal you set sail for the Sea of Moving Ice,
arriving at the mass of ice floes and bergs in the evening of 4 th
Hammer [January] to begin your search for the distinctive iceberg.
Three days later you are attacked by a group of Merrow and later
that same afternoon a pack of Scrags.
XP earnt is now irrelevant as the rest of ToD is based on
milestone XP. No levels were gained this session.
