It was a dark day, when our dear friend Geralt did not survive. Temeria has taken a mighty turn for the worse in his absence and the demand for Witchers has never been higher. This is why you were chosen to become one and why you will be adventuring alongside some of your fellow Witchers. That being said, this does not mean that everyone will welcome you with open arms. Some people still resent the Witchers, seeing them as a necessary evil in order for them to keep living their lives in relative peace. Greetings and Salutations, I am currently starting up a 5th Edition D&D The Witcher conversion game. There is a lot of new content to explore in this sandbox campaign as your characters grow and develop. As this is a full conversion, there will be a bit of learning required for the new mechanics that were introduced specifically to create a gritty feeling of fighting monsters as an actual human. That said, deep knowledge about 5th Edition D&D isn't necessary, but a basic grasp on the mechanics is a plus. Players will begin as Apprentice Witchers, just after completing the Trial of the Grasses and be free to begin taking contracts or exploring the land as they wish. While you may start at "1st level" I can assure you that it won't feel much like it, due to the new mechanics being introduced. Additionally, there will be hastened leveling in the early levels so that players can reach 5th level fairly quickly. The first group's game will be played on Tuesday night, and the second group's game will be played on Thursday night. I can also run the game for a third group on either Saturday or Sunday night. In addition, there is opportunity for cross-over in both groups if ever there were availability shifts, as both groups will be playing in the same world. As a note, the DM's timezone is Eastern US. Happy Hunting! DM VengefulSoul
