Look What I Did!

Hey guys, just wanted to share something I made a while back I'm proud of. It's not perfect, but I think it's pretty cool. I'm a web developer by trade, so to hone some skills and make something cool, I created a random SubSector generator. There are a few bugs, but basically, every time you refresh the page, bang! New SubSector! https://illuminatus23.github.io/traveller-subsecto...
A few things. First, I really enjoyed your interactions in my game last Tuesday. You did fumble on the 1 yard line but it was the most spectacular play of the season and has opened a few doors in my game I wasn't expecting. I'm looking forward to advancing my campaign through your actions within it. You're welcome to roll up a new character. Don't worry about how that will change the dynamic of the current story thread. Cory has changed characters many times and other players, due to ex termly poor choices, have had to roll up new characters rather often. In fact, now that you have a feel for the background you may have a better idea for a character you would enjoy playing. Or continue with Churchgate. He is a rather good character and there is a lot you could do to develop him. Your subsector generator is very good. A nice example of you skills as a web developer. Did you open source the code? Is it available on github? Obvious suggestions would be to store subsector data in session data and add a button to force re-rolling. Also, I noticed that names of high population worlds are not capitalized.
Thanks! Oh, yeah, there is tons to do to that little app, and saving the session is definitely one. Using a seed to generate numbers is another, because then, if you remember the seed, you can always re-generate the map. The code is all here , open sourced. I think I'll stick with Thelonius "Richard" Churchgate. He's a doofus. I actually kinda enjoy the fact that he has Cutlass-2, but gets a Str penalty for cutlass. Revolver-1 but gets a dex penalty for revolver. Computer-1 works for him. I was wondering about his Leadership-1, but then I read this in the rules: "The individual has led troops in battle (or on adventures) and is possessed of a knowledge and self-assurance which will make for a capable emergent or appointed leader." Emergent leader might be the keyword here. He definitely tried to lead his little "operation" and obviously has the self-assurance to appoint himself leader. :)
Sounds like Churchgate needs some true lackies.
