The Shattered Realms is a medieval fantasy world of magic, and monsters. Where dark beings wish to destroy the lives of others, and where tyrants rule. But there's still light in the darkness. A noble has sent out a request for mercenaries, sellswords, and adventurers of all types to meet with him, saying that he has a plan to make the realm of Astaria, one of the lands many kingdoms, a safer place. And that those who help him would be heavily rewarded. What brave, and skilled folk would seek the noble out, whether for the sake of the realm, or for the sake of riches? Information: - Mature; Keep in mind that I've set the mature tag since vulgar language, dark concepts (such as death, torture, gore), and so on will exist within the world. However, sexual content will not be explicitly roleplayed! - Communication is important; Players will be expected to show some level of interest and communication. Any players who shows little, especially none, will be dropped out at my discretion. - Text-only; It will be in English. - Heavy-roleplay; The rules are left intentionally vague, and allows players to chose exactly what they would like, within the confines of the setting. - Fairly freeform; The players are allowed to add their own piece of lore, interpretations, and story as long as it doesn't infringe on another player in the game. - Player #; Small groups are preferred, likely will be a max of 4 players. - System; We will be using Fate Core as the RPG system. If you don't know the system, it's not difficult to learn, so don't worry. - Schedule; The GM is west coast based, and I am east-coast, so the time slot will be between those two. A schedule will be discussed with all the players, but we will be playing at least weekly, on the schedule indicated. The current time that is listed is not guaranteed, but we will be shooting for around that time, subject to some degree of change. We may also play between the regular sessions, if all other players are available and up for it, but there is no guarantee. If you cannot make at least weekly, or your schedule is very busy constantly, this may not be the campaign for you.
