Hello! Posting here as we are starting a new Campaign, a sequel of the first, and we are looking for players. The story is simple enough; a band of adventurers trying to get themselves through a world ravaged for 600 years by disease, plague, chaos, and war. Mad Max meets Battletech. We're seeking two or three players over the age of eighteen. There are mature and adult things that have happened between players in the story, and content is expected to be treated in a respectful matter. There will be violence and savagery; it is not a nice world. While the story can always be explained in more detail to those interested; here is what we would require from prospective players. Availability: Sunday/Friday/Monday Evenings, Eastern Standard Time (Primary first, followed by the two nights we'd probably have to use if we had to reschedule) Age RL: 18+ (Group average age is 25-32) Roleplay Type: Medium to Heavy, Heavy Preferred General Theme: High Sci-Fi/Postapocalyptic/Cyberpunk Preferred RP Medium: Text, third person, at least able to string a sentence together and understanding that actions can have consequences. Content of Game: Mature We have our "Sessions" once a week, sometimes with smaller sessions with spin-offs depending on how the games go, with roleplay available on discord between sessions. As a GM, I'm a very patient individual who believes in the 'rule of cool' and will permit just about anything so long as it can be justifiably explained in relation to the lore. No penalties for missing session. RP presence is appreciated just as much as session presence. Generally, while some people 'flavor post' their actions in game, sessions are carried out in voice and between session character-to-character interaction is over text. Nobody discourages voice Rp during sessions, either. You -will- not have fun in this Campaign if you do not like to read or write. Interaction with other characters over text is strongly preferred in order to establish identity and get a feel for your character. We like our immersion.
