Which sheet are you using? I'm guessing OGL. By default, it rolls 2 d20s so you can evaluate the action as normal (use the first one), advantaged (use the higher), or disadvantaged (use the lower) on the fly. You can change that in the gear tab. I believe you can also set the default on the Game Settings page where the Character Sheet is selected at the bottom. Here's the relevant wiki section: https://wiki.roll20.net/5th_Edition_OGL_by_Roll20#Rolling_for_Advantage_and_Disadvantage

Is it showing 2 dice rolled in chat, or are you referring to the 3d dice? If it's in chat, can you provide a screenshot?

If it's two 3d, d20's, I'm guessing(since I'm more familiar with the pf community sheet...) that it's rolling the attack and the crit confirm roll at the same time. You'll only see the crit confirm results in chat if your attack is a crit threat based on the crit range. All 3d dice used in a macro get rolled at the same time, so you'll see all rolls regardless. ;-( It's a roll template vs 3d dice issue.

(Similar to the advantage/disadvantage). The 3D dice roller displays all dice that the template instructs it to roll. The template simply decides what to display in chat based on roll results.

Nolan hinted in today's Community Corner twitch cast that they are aware of the communities desire to "sync" 3d dice and roll template's conditional helpers. Looks like it might be another "on our road map" features. ;-P

Yup! I really hope they get it synced tbh. Its the defining reason I don't use 3d dice.

I don't allow 3d dice in the games I GM because they don't cooperate with Powercards' 'hidden' rolls (only viewable by the GM when rolled by a player). I'd rather have the utility than the pretty :/
I actually discovered the problem. when I created the er..channel I forgot to change the drop downs to 3.5 pathfinder. after words I corrected it...the system however is still thinking its 5e with a pathfinder character sheet. Hence the system is confused. Ill have to remake all my work now :( at any rate is there a way to export all my monsters I created.?

The Dice Engine and 3D dice function independently of any rules system. The character sheets are simply a block of code that roll the dice for you.
right...but I had set it up without knowing it as 5e and its 2 d20 rolling system...but changed the sheet to pathfinder. so I got the sheets..but it is still rolling 2 dice...that's not how it works in 3.5.

The pathfinder sheet is supposed to roll 2 d20s as well. One for the attack, and one for the crit confirmation. I just doesn't display the crit confirmation roll in chat unless the first one reaches the threshhold for a crit. The 3d dice will display 2 dice rolls.
