PREMISE: The players will rule a small kingdom/holding/colony in an up-to-one year experiment using a home brew of a simple social system. group will be limited to five members initially but since it is player driven the players may decide they may need someone to represent another office position, so this group may grow larger if it can be handled. In addition, players may come and go depending on the experiences in the game system (i.e. characters dying), interest wanes, or players find their availability changing. Players by majority can decide the setting as either medieval/fantasy (which is the default setting I was thinking), sci-fi colony or ship, a post apocalyptic setting (zombies, or Fallout, or whatever the players have an interest in) before the first session is started. After the setting is determined, some set up may be necessary so the game may be delayed on the next session. Though the current first session is set up for June 1st, we may delay it to give time to gain more players depending on interest. A lot of ideas and concepts on how the group would like to see the game run will be put up for vote among the players to decide upon during the first session. This can include how pressed for time you are at the initiation of the game, how well the group knows each other, whether to have more players to fill certain roles, whatever the players may have topics up to vote on. This is including the original items I have on my docket as well. More information could be found here.
