Map Layer Image

Not sure if'n this here idea already be suggested, but I usually map me maps wit' images and tokens found in th' art tab, which can lead ta' maps bein' right laggy. Methinks it'd be right handy if'n ye could genarate an image o' th' current map laya'. Then ye could wipe th' map laya' and replace it wit' that thar single image, makin' th' map more manageable fer whateva' browsa' ye use
Yes, this would be wonderful.  It would allow you to use the marketplace purchases to create a map with perhaps a couple hundred small images right on roll 20, then once completed, take a "screenshot" image except it would be at full resolution, so you could replace that background with a couple hundred links with one easy loading image.   Great idea!!
Agree, or at least enable more layers for map building. Map base layer, Map filler layer for object that can be easily removed without interfering with other layers, Tokens, Other.
