I am a Youth Services Librarian in Southern California and have been getting a pretty steady group of kids and teens that play Pathfinder here. I have been trying to incorporate Roll20 into the mix so I can invite some people from other areas and branches to play without having to make the commute. Let me do my best to explain what I want to do and I am hoping you guys can tell me if its doable and if it isn't how I could do something similar. 1. I want to use my projector here to project the map on our movie screen. (Seems easily doable) 2. I do not want to exclude anyone who doesn't have a laptop or tablet (again these are mostly kids) and I can't provide everyone with one either since the computer area is spread across the library and is limited to 1 hour use times. I was trying to see if it is possible to create 2 accounts. Mine would be the GM account and 1 Library Player account. Is there a way that I could have the library player account be able to control the entire party's tokens? This way I could have the players here with their Character Sheets in hand and rolling dice like normal but the map and tokens would all be digital. I could just have them come up one by one to move their token on the tablet or computer I can provide. The player account would basically just control the tokens. Anyone who joins from offsite would have a computer anyways and they would have their own account. I appreciate any help you guys can offer. I am extremely new to Roll20 and would love to begin to incorporate it into my stuff here. I really want to bring people from other libraries and communities into our games.
