Uploading an asset without a white background. How?

Hey guys i'm trying to use this picture in a custom map i'm making. However when I upload it, it's uploaded with a white background (which can be seen when opened from my desktop in Paint). I know this isn't a problem with Roll20 but with the way the image is saved. How can I only save the image of the overturned cart without the white background? I tried cutting it and using the "Transparant Background" option in paint but I think I have to paste it onto something for it to work. And I really just want to save it like that so i can paste it onto a road in a map on Roll20.

you will have to remove the white background and save it as a .png to allow the transparency before you upload it. This is also off topic for roll20.

I can recommend the Pixlr editor if you don't have Photoshop or equivalent installed. I use it all the time for this purpose. https://pixlr.com/editor/
Adobe Photoshop CS2 (An older version) is free to download now you don't have to pay for it: Adobe Photoshop CS2 Free Download Use the "magic eraser" tool on the white area and it will remove all the white space then as Pat said save it as a *.png
For now here is a transparent *.png of your image you can use for now until you get a graphic editing program and can do this yourself:
