Hello everyone! I am looking to introduce people to a tabletop system known as Barebones Fantasy (BBF) that I quite enjoy. BBF is a rather simple D100 system (D100 Lite) made by DwD Studios and released back in 2012. I have a small write-up, and link to a solid review of it in my game listing post called "What is Barebones Fantasy?" The system overall uses "classes as skills" and allows the character to gain levels in these different skills/classes to improve themselves in various ways. The longest part of character creation (besides thinking the character up!) will be finding a token! Please read more about BBF in that post, or ask questions! The one-shot that I will be running is called "In an Unkempt Manner" and is a classic trope of going to a haunted? manor home and discovering what in the heck is going on here. Less Scooby-Doo and more Ghostbusters style as I doubt the denizens of the place are just old Mr. Abernathy in a mask! I'm looking to have about a 70/30 split of combat/RP so that the system can showcase its mechanics. The system does encourage creative solutions over just swinging your sword over and over, though I suppose that is a solution! Again, more here ! I will be following the RAW as close as possible though I do tweak XP gain (called DP in this system) however that isn't terribly relevant in this on-shot. I may run a full-size campaign of this system in the future if enough interest is generated. NO NON-SENSE STATS: THE GAME LISTING ! Time will be either 1 PM EDT, or 8 PM EDT Game will run at maximum 4 hours, but most likely around 3 hours. Barebones Fantasy (D100 Lite) System One-Shot Voice Game utilizing Discord ! This means you need a decent, working mic. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED, though general RPG or Roll20 experience is nice! Put all interest in playing in the appropriate "APPLICATIONS HERE" posting in the listing. 4-5 Players will be picked from the time slot with most interest via lottery/my discretion. If you have any questions feel free to post them in the appropriate post in the listing, or here. Further feel free to show general interest on this post (I could use the bumps!), but only applications on the listing will be sued to pick players. As always, Happy Gaming!
