Object Blocking Dynamic Lighting

https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6398735/object-blocking-dynamic-lighting/?pageforid=6400315#post-6400315 I posted this on the Suggestions forums, and was directed here: Basically, wondering if there was a way for movable objects to be set up to block dynamic lighting (without having to move the object AND the dynamic lighting shape. It would be helpful for my players to be able to see where shadows are on the map in regards to lighting (one player is a Way of the Shadow Monk, and can teleport into shadows/darkness/dim light)

There are several API scripts that will associate lines on the DL Layer with a graphic on another layer, and keep them oriented if either are moved. I'm not sure what would meet your needs explicitly, but it is possible with the API, but requires a game created by a user with an Active Pro Subscription.

Ah, I see he mentioned Bump, which is one of my scripts. =D It's not directly applicable, but conceptually the idea is very similar to what you'd want.

So nothing I could do at the Plus level? It's a convenience and immersion 'want' more than a 'need', so I wouldn't really want to double my subscription fees just for that feature (obviously I'd gain the other benefits, but I really only use Roll20 as a primary tool for one player who is out of town, otherwise it's just a handy map tool that doesn't require wet-erase markers).

Sounds like you've got a handle on it.
