Macros replacing html replacement codes with actual characters??

Hi, so umm... I was making some nested macros that required use of replacement codes, but when I click save on the macro and open it back up, the macro replaced all my right bracket codes with the brackets themselves. This means that every time I need to edit my macro, the macro breaks and is unusable until I swap every single right bracket back out for their html replacement code. Please help.

Side note: I was making abilities using this method a few days ago and didn't have this problem. I was able to edit my character ability macros just fine without any characters being replaced. However, now I am scared to open them since some of them are quite long and complicated

Sadly this is an issue with global macros. It is generally advised to save them in an external document or as character abilities. Your alternative when using global macros is to save them and NEVER open them again...

Okay, thank you for your quick reply. Thankfully I did take to saving my macros in a Word document as it were. Do you know if there are there any plans to change this?

**sets mod-hat on the table**

Personally, I had hoped that the recent text editor update (which incidentally fixed the html replacement issue here in the forums) would address that, but it didn't. It seems that maybe it would be part of a wider canvas overhaul which is a major project. As someone with ~1000 html enabled global macros I feel your pain. Fingers crossed would be my advice :)
