Dynamic Lightning completely unusable in Storm King's Thunder campaign

Heya, I'm having MASSIVE lag issues using dynamic lightning in the storm king's thunder campaign. Doesn't matter if I am looking at my game solo, or if I have my party with me. The lag is so bad that you actually can not use dynamic lightning.  Are there any fixes for this, or any help? Feels a bit sad to have bought a 50 euro set for roll20 only for one of the main features to be unusable. Thank you for your help! -Janaros

SKT is a massive campaign. The best thing you can do to help with the lag is make two campaigns. One campaign will be your "repository" campaign, which is build using the module. The second one is your actual game campaign, which starts off as an "empty" campaign. Use the transmogrifier to bring in the pages and NPCs that you need for your current session from the repository campaign into the game campaign. If you're still experiencing lag, here are some more suggestions: Use the OGL rather than the Shaped sheet. Shaped is a lot more resource intensive. Make sure that advanced fog of war is turned off, especially on large maps. Turn of video (if you use it) and only use voice chat. Don't use the jukebox. A lot will depend on your internet connection. I run SKT with sound, dynamic lighting, and advanced fog of war and only experience minimal lag.
Note that the Transmogrifier is a Pro level feature, and the OP is only a Plus level subscriber. I echo Kirsty's suggestion #2: AFoW can be a real strain on resources. Additionally, you may want to try toggling Hardware Acceleration off or on in your browser.
