[LFG][5E] Experienced player looking for long-form campaign group.

So I have been playing d&d with friends for a couple years now, and it's been great, except that for our current campaign, I am the DM, which is fine, except that I would like to get to play as a player for once. So I am looking for a group that will be able to meet regularly, work together, and play as friends and have fun telling a saga of characters from humble beginnings to victorious ends.  Basically I'm bored of one shots and want to be part of a campaign. And I want to make new DnD friends along the way. So please hit me up! 

Hi AJ.  May I ask what time zone you're in and what days you're available?  I'm currently running "Tyranny of Dragons" on Saturdays 5:30 PST / 8:30 EST; mostly new players. 

Im CDT so that would work perfectly for me. Cant say ill make ever week, because i have weekend obligations once a month or so for my job, but most weekends that is a good time. That said, this weekend is one of the weekends i cant do Saturday so I'd have to join y'all next week.  I would love to hear more though if you don't mind me talking to you a bit more in PM's.

if you do not find enough players for this edition.  would 3.5 be a possibility

Im not quite as good with 3.5 on account of the fact that i dont own the literature. Im sure i could learn, but I would prefer to remain playing 5e if I can. Ill keep you in mind though.

is there a discrod i can join to talk to DnD dungeon mastars

Sorry, grizzly, but this is a post for finding a group to play with not run a game for. ya might wanna look elsewhere for a DM for a group.
