So when I look through different rule books and some of the Attacking Cantrips like Thorn Whip gain an extra d? depending on what level you are.... Is there any way I can fix this so that when my character reaches level 5 for example it'll do 2d? instead of 1d?

What sheet are you using? Is DnD 5e? Some of the sheet might automatically scale cantrip damage& proficiency bonus according to character lvl.

If you are using the 5e OGL character sheet. This is already handled for you. Look for the cantrip progression  setting for the individual spell.

It's more because I'm adding a spell that isn't in PHB and have had to enter all the details myself. I will have a look for the cantrip progression thing now. thank you
