Looking for advice on joining a game.

a buddy and i are new to this and looking to run join a campaign together. what is the best way to go about this attempt to both get accepted to a game or start a new game looking for a group and gm?

I am a dm new to Roll20 looking for players so this may be a match made in heaven.  I am setting up a pathfinder campaign set in a city called Ptolus.  Let me know if interested

Above all else I always coach patience, there is a large amount of players compared to GMs so finding a group can be tricky, finding the right group even more so. Don't be put off if it takes a while though, this community is second to none and the hobby is well worth taking the time to get involved in :) However Sean's offer sounds like a great start!!
