Looking for a teacher who can help me in the creation of an original character sheet.

Hello, I am creating an original RPG for use on Roll20 that is actually the skeleton for a future MMO.  I have basic HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JQuery knowledge and am looking for someone a little more experienced than I that would be willing to collaborate  with me in the creation of a working character sheet that will do all the math for the players.  The system is a point per action based system as an players progress the keeping up with thousands of tick marks would destroy all the fun in the game.  I by no means want someone to simply design the character sheet for me.  I want to learn as much as I can during this creation process.  It simply boils down to the fact that Its just me and I already have so many things that Im already doing on my own that I just dont have the time to learn all that I would need to know to complete this task properly.  It will take a very special person to accept this task as it is a totally voluntary position.  At this time the most I can offer in compensation is a challenge for your mind and your name in the credits of the game.

I only have slightly more experience in creating sheets, but would be willing to help out. I have been working on 2 others, Marvel and Palladium sheets.

My advice would be to start work yourself, and post issues you have here in the forum. Getting help from dozens of people is way better than expecting one person you dont know to commit to a major project for no reward, and putting on their shoulders the burden of solving all your problems. It's better for you in the long run to use the forums, because individuals who have no reason to commit will lose interest when things in their own life inevitably interfere, and you'll end up frustrated and stuck. I may sound negative here, but I'm genuinely trying to help and guide you to a better way to get your character sheet built. The forums have lots of people who are available at various times of the day, with lots of different skill sets, who are eager to help people solve their problems.

You are totally correct and it is already begun.  But, if their was someone on these forums with a plethora of knowledge that was willing to spend a little of their time to teach, because some people love the chance to teach, I wanted to allow them the opportunity.  As it turns out one person has replied all ready willing to teach me a few tricks they have learned creating sheets here which is great. It is also a way to meet a few collaborators.  If they are interested in helping with the sheet they may have other information, opinions and so forth that may be beneficial.  Thanks again C.Jones  

As someone that worked on Character sheets (SWRPG and Genesys) I would say if you use code snippets from other character sheets and don't 100% understand those snippets they will very likely come and bite you later on. Make sure you understand the code before adding it. Also Github and&nbsp; <a href="https://jsfiddle.net/" rel="nofollow">https://jsfiddle.net/</a> &nbsp;are your best friends for sharing code and fixing issues.
