I stumbled upon this tool for Power Cards: https://archive.codeplex.com/?p=r20cpcmg But the downloadable archive doesn't seem to have an #.exe and I don't know what's needed to use it. Do I need Visual Studio to compile it or something? Can someone help me and tell me how to use this?

Once upon a time, there was a coder who wrote this program to create D&D 4E Powercard macros for a version of the Powercards API that is lost except in dim memories of a few. This program is now useless and can be ignored utterly.

Tha'st a shame. Power Cards is pretty syntax heavy if you want to use a lot of information while making it look nice so there's a bit of barrier to entry when trying to learn about how to use it.

I sympathize. I've been using Powercards since nearly the beginning, so as each new thing got added it was a tiny lump of 'new' to process. I can only imagine having to start learning it now . However, I feel the end results are worth the labor. :) Ziechael has a google spreadsheet he uses for easily making his powercards, he could probably be induced to share how he made it (his is for 3.5).
I'm playing Pathfinder so there is probably some overlap there with it and 3.5 - could really use that spreadsheet otherwise I'm in for a lot of reading and a lot of trial and error.

There is a LOT of custom stuff involved in my powercards and I haven't been updating my version since before it went 1-click (the new fangled features don't interest me much) but here is the public version of the sheet, annotated with comments to explain some of the more quirky features. Enjoy.

Enjoy. Thanks so much Ziechael! I've been using the Pathfinder Community Sheet roll templates and I've pretty much mastered the fields and syntax. I only want to use Power Card specifically for magic / spellcasters. I'm sure this will help me with that a great deal.
