In a shellnut I have 3 players and want to try getting a 4th.The three players are my friends with me as the GM and I'm looking to find a 4th person that isnt a complete train wreck. I'm going to be forward about what the game is and my own personal expectations. 1: We require voice chat! Please have an ok quality microphone. If you have a lot of background noise please know what push-to-talk is. We use discord. 2: I don't mind if your newer to savage worlds but I tend to run mechanically difficult games; if you do something silly as a character in a dangerous situation that's ok, just understand I'm not the kinda gm who holds his punches or hides his rolls, death can occur & I believe it's part of the narrative of the story and nothing personal. I don't mind if you make a character that's "min-maxed" as long as your character still has, well, character; feel free to make them as "good" as you want, I even encourage it. 3:The sessions consist of healthy parts roleplay with combat. I don't care if you can't do a voice, I would just like a bit of consideration to who or what your character is and how they'll interact with the universe. Roleplaying only in the 3rd person gets lame... ಠ╭╮ಠ 4:My friends and I like to have fun, we can be crass at times and are sometimes politically incorrect. You've been warned. 5: I hate to say this but our schedule for the game has to happen on Thursday(time is listed on the game), it's the only day that works for us. We have someone from aussie-land so our times align have to align around the listed time, we can maybe give or take an hour, but it's very rigid at the moment; I'm sorry for not having a more flexibile schedule to work with but that's the reality of our situation for now. 6: We tend to play for 3-6+ hours at times. Sometimes our session will just keep going as long as everyone feels it. Please be able to commit 3-4 hours to the session. If we're only meeting once a week, we should make it count. 7: Our sessions tend to stick with 4 players max. Anymore then this and there's just too many people I think, so atm only looking for one person unless two individuals manage to be so compelling I break my rule. It's my personal belief that "challenging game mechanics + narrative with consequence that priorities being interesting" is what makes our hobby the greatest it can be. Parts game-mechanics and storytelling without neglecting one or the other; otherwise why not have a drama/acting club or play a RPG video game which does the individual elements better. Well... with that outta the way, onto what the game is actually about. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/125192/saving-sol it's a sci-fi game of my own creation/original setting, but we're starting out only using core rules. Later on we'll be using the sci-fi companion but you're all starting in a pretty normal world with only knowledge of what traveling the stars is rather then much experience with it. Details in the discussion/listing. They'll be spaceship stuffs, magic, FTL travel, robots and in general we tend to go a bit anime. One of the characters is a pseudo magical girl, so if you're weeb I'm sure you'll fit in. I posted a bit of background on the listing itself so feel free to check it out in more detail and see if you're interested.
