How to create a hyperlink that will link to the spell compendium

I'm trying to create a text link within a handout so I don't have to search all over the compendium for a spell. I have tried something like... "You can not use [Teleport] while trying to get here" That spell works, but I can't link Detect Magic or a lot of other spells. Suggestions?
I set up a spellbook handout with links to the spells in the compendium but I don't recommend it as when clicking on the link you are booted out of Roll20 in favour of the link address. It used to ask confirmation to go to an external link and then create a new tab in the browser but it doesn't work that way anymore. Otherwise, you can link to individual handouts of spells by dragging the spell to the TT, a handout will be created for the spell, and you then can create the link with square brackets around the name of the spell handout. But then you'll have a whole bunch of handouts.
