Question about TurnMarker

August 07 (6 years ago)

I am using !group-init and also want to you use TurnMarker to help with combat times, but I am wondering which script I am supposed to copy to use TurnMarker.  I copied and pasted 1.3.9 and when I ran it, it shut all my scripts down.  Now, I'm thinking that my lack of knowledge of even the basest of coding is the problem.  With that in mind I ask, Am I supposed to start with the first script and then copy and paste the updates into the original code, or is there just a new updated one somewhere that I am missing?

Thanks in advance....again

Hmmm.  I use both Group-init(one-click api code) and Turnmarker1 v1.3.9 (raw link) in my games without issue.  If you are not using a "One-click" api script from the api dropdown list on the api scripts page, you should always install the latest "non-one-click" raw text of the script.  Do not append.  Raw scripts should be pasted in their entirety.  Make sure you paste over any other versions of a script.  Always use the latest version of code unless you have a reason not to.

I got it to work properly.  It has nothing to do with your script, just my newness to APIs in general.  I had pasted the wrong version of the script.  Once I got the correct one it was easy peasy.  Thanks again to everyone for everything.  You all are super supportive and welcoming.
