Question regarding the Players Handbook?

I have the modules for PotA and HotDQ and would like to know if purchasing the Handbook would give me access to the additional spells in PotA?

Purchasing the PHB will only give you compendium access to the information in the PHB. At this time, spells that are specific to modules are only listed as handouts in those modules, and do not have a compendium equivalent. If you upgrade to pro-level, you can use the Transmogrifier to copy those handouts from a PotA game into whatever game you would like, but they still won't be drag and drop for the character sheet. There are posts in the suggestions forum that ask for these items to be added to the compendium (example, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4890588/any-plans-on-adding-npcs-and-new-monsters-from-modules-to-the-compendium/?pageforid=4890588#post-4890588 ) so perhaps adding your voice there might help.
Hi Robert, Loren the GM is correct. At this time module content will not append the available compendium. Additionally, the PHB does not include the elemental evil spells. We have expressed interest in appending that information in the past and it still being worked towards.
Stupid question: If it is just a question of "we don't have the resources to key the stuff into our database right now", could that be done by some community members / volunteers?
Hi Arthur, We are always accepting applications for compendium editors, however we are not currently on-boarding. If you (or anyone for that matter) would like to be added to the list of applicants please email us at Team@Roll20.net answering the questions in the link below so we can reach out when we start on-boarding again :) https://wiki.roll20.net/Building_Compendiums#How_to_Become_a_Volunteer
Hi Drespar, thanks for the link! I hardly have any time right now myself, but I am sure there are a lot of people interested in helping out.
