• Name:  Zach • About Me:  I'm 31, and other than working towards a degree I have no other commitments, so I play a lot of D&D. • Time Zone:  I am EDT (UTC -4) and am awake from 2PM to 5AM every day. • Days Available: I'm currently looking for a game on Tuesdays or Thursdays. • Style of Play:  I like to be inventive and think outside the box, and I enjoy roleplaying. I love to grow into a character to the point that playing them and decision making from their perspective is just second nature. • What I am looking for:  I really want to find a more mature group who enjoys the RP, no meta gaming, remaining in character for most of it. Hopefully the campaign has a good balance of RP and combat, with no less combat than ~40%. If I join a campaign, I prefer having no planned endpoint or at least plans to continue with the party’s adventures  to level 20 even  past the planned campaign end.  • Experience:  I have played D&D and other table top RPGs for over 20 years, and I am well versed in D&D 5E. Character: • Name:  Tryck • Race:  Warforged Envoy • Class:  Staring class Fighter (1 or 2 levels max) / Wizard – School of Evocation (the rest of the levels) • Alignment:  True Neutral • Background:  Sage  • Description:  Tryck was created by a mad gnome wizard named Kastix as an unnamed lab assistant, a note taker, a data logger, a bodyguard, and a tool to overcome his obvious physical limitations due to his gnomish birth. Tryck was made to be 6’8” and 300 lbs exactly and has integrated calligraphy tools to take immaculate notes. While the mage had a brilliant mind, his memory was quite poor, and he was quite useless without his notes. Tryck served under Kastix for 20 years, and through these 20 years he learned quite a bit about his creator and his nefarious purposes for his extreme arcane experimentations. Kastix was a necromancer and was researching to raise an undead army of sufficient size to take over the region and to elevate himself to be as powerful as a demi-god. Tryck, for the last 3 years of Kastix’s life, implemented a plan he had devised to meticulously alter details in Kastix’s notes. The plan was successful, as the purpose of the plan was for one his creator’s larger experiments to fail so horribly it resulted in Kastix’s complete annihilation. Once Kastix was no longer a threat to the world, Tryck spend the next few years learning everything in Kastix’s vast library. He wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible and developed a specific love for anything having to do with dragons. Once he had absorbed all of the knowledge in his creator’s laboratory, he ventured forth in seek of as much knowledge as he could come by, and almost exclusively resided in all of the various libraries of the region. Doing favors for just the right people he needed to gain access to any library he wished.  His knowledge of emotional response came as a result of much trial and error during his first 20 years spent in the world. Tryck is very matter of fact feels emotion to be nothing more than an irrational response to various stimuli that seems to be inherent in most intelligent living creatures. While he doesn’t regard emotions as rational, he is very aware of social constructs, and knows what is proper and improper to say in most situations. He respects the feelings of others, and actually seeks to be as amiable as possible in every situation. He is only rude or irreverent if it is reciprocated by the other party or well deserved. Here is a link to his character sheet. He's at level 5 just to show how I plan to progress, and he is using standard array stats for placeholders. Other than his stats, everything else on the sheet is pretty much exactly how he will be including skills (he's basically only proficient in knowledge skills),   spells, equipment, and the feat.
