Old School Adventurer Tokens

Hi All,  I'm starting a classic D&D (B/X) campaign and I'm looking for a good assortment of PC tokens. We're talking Race as Class halflings, dwarfs, and elves. Human Fighter/Cleric/Magic-User/Thief here. I also would like female options. I found a bit of Devin's stuff helpful, but there are gaps I'm trying to fill in. I'd love free, but I'm willing to pay a few bucks. I'd rather not have to buy a whole set for just one token though.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
This is a good set: <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1825/fantasy-tokens-set-3-classic-adventurers" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1825/fantasy-tokens-set-3-classic-adventurers</a>
I like the look, but I notice no thieves/rogues other than the halfling. Also no clerics.&nbsp; Thanks for the suggestion!
You should be able to fill in any gaps using the Roll20 art search function. Or you can just go straight to the Dunjinni forums, which is where Roll20 pulls its search results from.&nbsp; <a href="http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/" rel="nofollow">http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/</a>
The in-game search term function isn't very good, IMO. I've entered keywords and gotten no results from the free section, but if I browse token art in the Marketplace, I find them there! The dundjiini results seem weird. Sometime the link takes you to the image, sometimes they are buried in a thread somewhere. I'm sure this is smoother as one gets more familiar with the system, but for now it's frustrating. Like I said before, I'd pay for a set of consistent looking art that had old-school races and classes with male and female in one or two sets, but that apparently is rarer than I'd think.

Yeah, sometimes those topic threads get really long, and you have to dig to find what you're looking for. But there is some really great art available on the Dundjinni site, and the price is right.

Yes, that's true unfortunately. I have purchased all of Greg Bruni's medieval fantasy sets, and am looking forward to new releases But I know it takes time. I've purchased many of Devin Night's figures too, although those often tend to be more what I would call "high fantasy". Bruni's figures are just about exactly what I like for my games, they really have that old school look. The Halfling set he recently released was great, I snapped it right up.

As the Devs said over here : After doing some digging, this is what's the cause of this issue: Back in the early days of Roll20, Google's search engine API was free and readily available to be used. This was utilized for our web search for the Art Library. At the time, Google had claimed that this would be a freely available asset for a long time. As you can probably guess where this story is going, they decided later to lock their API behind a very significant price tag. Nowadays, when someone runs searches in the art library, it's using search results that we scraped back when we still had the API available. Those search results are tied to the keywords that were searched with at the time. This list of compiled searches are nearly four years old now, and limited to the keywords that were utilized by a fraction of the userbase that we have now. Ideally, we would find another search engine API to utilize, but so far we haven't found one that is financially feasible to license. When things change it will be announced, but for now we're stuck with what we have.
Thanks for all the info!

If you want to search the marketplace and have results returned by token instead of by set, you can do a custom google image search. For your search, enter: site:roll20.net SEARCHTERMS This will restrict the results to the rich variety available in the marketplace, and most results will lead you to the set's page in the marketplace to see if the rest of the set meets your needs/approval. The search seems to take into account the keywords attached to the tokens and is a nice companion to the built in marketplace search.
