Unable to use 5e skill roller?

While running a campaign using the D&D 5e character sheet as a base for some homebrewed classes, one of my players realized he's unable to use the character sheet to roll skill checks.  Abilities, saves and attacks all work as intended, but skill checks (Arcana, Intimidate, etc) will prompt for advantage and whisper, but will not output a roll into chat.  Other characters in the campaign work as intended. Browser: Chrome v68.0.3440.106 x64 (latest), latest Firefox (Can retrieve version number if needed, not at home right now) Steps to duplicate: Open character sheet, attempt to click any skill check, accept prompts for advantage/whisper, nothing outputs into chat. I've already tried to delete the (skillname)_bonus attributes fields and re-add them, but this has not helped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Shawn, I think you're gonna need to run through the troubleshooting steps. But I've also got a couple additional questions. Does this happen regardless of the user attempting the roll? If you change off of either/both of the query options does that fix the issue? Are there any other characters that are having the issue? Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to  Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions  and  anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through  Step 4 .  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Try to grab the console log after failing to properly roll a skill. Thank you!

Does this happen regardless of the user attempting the roll?  Yes, it seems to happen regardless.  Myself (GM) and the owner of the character are both unable to roll skillchecks from the character sheet. If you change off of either/both of the query options does that fix the issue?  It doesn't fix it when I turn both options to "Never Query", instead it outputs this beauty into chat: "SyntaxError: Expected "(", ".", "[", "abs(", "ceil(", "d", "floor(", "round(", "t", "{", [ |\t], [+|\-] or [0-9] but "H" found." Are there any other characters that are having the issue?  Not as far as I'm aware. I'll post a screencap of my console log after I restart my browser should it fail again. Edit: Screencap attached, if there's more information you need from the console, please let me know!
Troubleshooting guide done, I disabled all my add-ons for Firefox and Chrome (both latest version), cleared my cache and my post above should have the console log after I attempted a skill roll.  I'm running Windows 10 x64 with Javascript enabled and updated to the latest version.

The console log looks like it is from a fresh, not fully loaded tabletop, can you log into the game, open the sheet, attempt the roll, and then grab the entirety of the console log that appears, it will have that error that was sent to chat at the very bottom.
This should be better, sorry!

Ok, yeah, that looks to be the only issue. I'd suggest looking at the character's attack rolls and seeing if something odd got put in for their damage or another field.
Found what was causing it, I think I was using the tools and custom proficiencies area incorrectly.  Turned off one of the things I had in there and it worked like a charm!  Thanks so much!
