This is just a rant, but I hope someone at roll20 sees this...  The ios ipad app straight up doesn't work.  I don't think there is a feature that isn't slow, buggy, or just isn't working. It's not uncommon to be stuck on a loading screen or for button presses to not do anything at all.  The fact that the app was last updated 2 years ago and it's current rating of 1.8/5 is testament to how bad it really is.  As an advertised feature of the plus subscription, this isn't good enough.

In regards to the general performance of the app, it is something we want to revisit and optimize as well.
