Paladin and Shockwave continued to track down leads on the Animal-Men hybrids that attacked the Boom-Boom room. They killed everyone there except for four strippers they captured for sport. Their investigation was cut short when Shockwave's g/f called. She was hysterical because her little brother had been turned into a living pile of poop. They found out he had been bullying a kid named Stanley Duffy. When they talked to Stanley they learned he bought a book from an ad in the back of a comic book entitled 'Omnipotence for Dummies'. Stanley is the only one who can read the words in the book, everyone else sees only blank pages. After letting him abuse the power for a bit they convinced him the power of the book was too great a temptation for a 15 year old boy. He sold the book to Paladin for what it cost him, 9.95 plus shipping. Paladin gave him 20 and called it good. Paladin and Shockwave have promised to come back to Stanley's house and help him get into shape and learn to defend himself without needing the power of a god at his disposal. Paladin is hiding the book so Shockwave can not find it, just in case.
