[LFP][5e] [EST] Looking for newbie players to join a Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign ran by a newbie DM Friday nights

Brand new dm who is interested in teaching brand new players how to play DnD 5th edition. Looking for people who are interested in learning the ins and outs of dnd. So I implore you, If you have DnD experience underneath your belt then please search somewhere else. If you are interested please add me on discord @ ActionDangerMan #5861 __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Despite DnD Youtubers, podcasters and vets encouraging new people to Dnd out , I found that the community (Especially in roll20 itself) was not friendly to newer players what so ever unless they were willing to pay. Now don't get me wrong. I know dm'ing Is a lot of work and you have every right to charge money for the hours upon hours it takes to set up and run a campaign but I found the demand for veteran players really ousted or deter newer players from enjoying the game. One person who picked me up and taught me all of the rules was my current DM who was 14 at the time took me underneath his wing and taught me and a bunch of new players the joy of dnd. Its been about 9 months since then and I'm trying to host A campaign in order to give back.
I've been DMing my current IRL group for a little bit. But it seems I dont know the ins and outs of the rules as well as a few of my "rules lawyers" do. I know a good amount of how to play and roleplay, but I've never actually played any other campaign other than the one I'm doing. Would you mind if I joined?
I have played a few months and while I know a bit, i do not know everything that probably is needed to play as well. Would really appreciate it if I could be taught more, more detailed and maybe learn if I done something wrong.
Hey! I'd love to join your campaign, I've played a few sessions of DnD and have read the players handbook so I understand most of the game, I'd love to join, just send me a message!
Just wondering. I am not sure I qualify since I am a DM (and only ever been a DM) that is running a Curse of Strahd game on the weekends and I have actually DMed this campaign before. However I still wonder at what day in the week and what time you are planning to hold this game? Timezones are also very important.
I am very interested in joining if you havent filled up yet, brand new to dnd but have been pouring through the handbooks(5e), let me know if you still have space!
Looking for one more player. Read the title and post before applying.
Just started playing D&D last week so I'm a new born to this mind if i join?
