Hey. My last attempt at this was a good month ago, so I figure it's time to try again. ~~~~~ What I'm looking for: Ideally, a Pathfinder 2.0 playtest game. But I'm very familiar with D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, and D&D 5e, and would be happy to play any of them. I'm historically familiar with several White Wolf games, particularly Werewolf and Exalted, but haven't played them in a very long time, but would be willing to get back into them so long as the group is patient with me. Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, pretty much all day. I live in the Central time zone of the US (GMT -5). Typically on either Tuesday or Thursday, I'll be unavailable for a few hours in the early afternoon. Races: I'll play any race that I feel fits. Usually Humans due to versatility, but Half-Elves are a common choice from me, too. Classes: This one is more about whatever is needed most. I'm particularly fond of caster classes, especially Warlocks [D&D] and Alchemists [PF]. As far as martial classes, I'm fond of the more agile choices like Monks and Rogues. But I'm more than willing and able to play anything. History: I'm 32. I've been table-top gaming since High School. I started playing Werewolf and Exalted in a friend's basement on weekends. When we got into college, we shifted to D&D 3.5. Played that for most of its life until I discovered Pathfinder with a different gaming group. Had games for that until 5e rolled around, and have been playing and DM'ing that one since its release. Really looking to get back to just being a player so I can stop trying to herd cats. What kind of group do I want?: Preferably a laid back group that's comfortable with joking around in tense situations (out of character) and a DM who's not overly strict on players being silly. What do I dislike most?: Unfairness, particularly from DMs. I've had several games where DMs couldn't remain impartial and it ended up splitting groups apart. Also rolling for stats. A LITTLE ABOUT ME I've been table-top gaming for about 18 years. I have very low self-esteem. I don't like min-maxing myself, but won't stop anyone else who wants to do it. I can be a bit of a rules-lawyer, but am fully willing to admit both when I'm wrong and that the DM ultimately has the final say in whether or not something is the way it is regardless of the rules. I don't like to DM, but I do like being involved in games, so I have DMed just to be able to have games. I focus more on playing roles than I do on combat effectiveness. I prefer to build characters rather than combat engines. I like to make characters who spend free time crafting things. I'm gay, and tend to make characters who are as well.
