
"Hive worlds, as a rule, really stink." The dropship pilot has been pretty talkative over the vox ever since leaving the rogue trader's ship. "This one's different, though. It super stinks." Projecting on a table in the center of the dropship, between your jump seats, is a spinning map of the planet. Typical ash wastes, random storm activity, and hive spires. A red flashing dot hovers over the center middle of one spire, just below the cloud line. "We've got about ten minutes," the pilot's voice again crackles in your ears. "Less, if we all die en route." It's matter-of-fact. It's not a joke. Everyone nods and shrugs. One of the men braced against the hatch leading to the cockpit gives an exasperated look, like he's had to deal with idiots who state the obvious for just far too long. He's probably hoping the dropship hits a freakstorm and everyone inside, including him, gets fried. But, realistic as that outcome might be, it would make for a very short adventure. This is a Wrath & Glory (W&G) game to get used to the system. It will run weekly for up to 8 sessions.
