I've played d&d a while, been haunted by rolls. I play in a particularly unforgiving setting, in which every time you go out you could die. As interesting as that is, it is demoralizing to roll new characters every so often and the relentless combat, so I'd quite like to join a campaign with regular adventurers every week, a focused goal and an emerging narrative.
