Can't access zoom tool

18.0.1025.151 (Developer Build 130497 Linux) Ubuntu 10.04 - Attempting to change zoom off anything from default of 100% results in the zoom pop-out menu simply closing.
Only in chrome, if you use mozilla firefox works ok.
I have similar trouble running Roll20 in a Google+ Hangout. The submenu doesn't vanish always and instantly, but often before I get to 40% zoom.
Same problem here, using Chrome 20.0.1132.27 beta on Goobuntu Precise.
This issue has been added to the bug list; thanks for the info from everyone.

It took me a while to realize there was an issue in Chrome, as I instinctively use Ctrl + Mousewheel. Definitely looking forward to having this properly fixed, however in the interim thought I'd post a workaround here in case it's useful to anyone. I've placed *'s against the browsers I've tested and confirmed this to work in on Linux Mint/Ubuntu. From the Keyboard (Should work in Firefox*, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome*, Chromium*) To zoom in, increasing the size, press and hold Ctrl while pressing “+” (plus). To zoom out, decreasing the size, press and hold Ctrl while pressing “-” (minus). To reset size back to normal, press and hold Ctrl while pressing “0″ (zero). From the Mouse (Should work in Firefox*, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome*, Chromium*) If your mouse has a scroll wheel, press and hold Ctrl while scrolling up to zoom in and down to zoom out.

I may be wrong, but I think that the commands that you have listed will be trapped by the browser and not passed on to the application (roll20). I have done the same thing a couple of times. Chrome does some zooming in and out, but everything zooms; chat window, turn tracker, etc.. This really does a number on the fog of war on my machine as well. It repaints at a different speed than the main layer so by zooming you can get a peek of what is underneath. Again, not sure if they can change the browser's behavior. A different set of keys would be great if they cannot.
bump, any plans to fix this?
Any fixes for this? In Chrome the entire window zooms...not the map.

I'm also seeing this behavior in the most recent chrome, on Linux Mint 13 (Ubuntu derivative), and was wondering if there was a fix? Also, Firefox complains that flash isn't new enough for voice/vid chat, and flash won't support anything newer than what I have now for linux, so FF isn't really a fix.
