Mark D. said: That... actually sounds kind of fun Destrier. Heavier on the RP aspect to make up for the lack of preparation. Also, I've never done 5e and have been wanting to try it. Thanks Mark. I had dinner plans, but am back on now. Thought about it on the drive home: Lots of improvised weapons at the start - grab what equipment you can as you go along. GM could present a series of challenges = get out of the prisoner's bunk house (or work area), deal with being chained together, take revenge on a guard? sneak out of the camp, evade the pursuit... for a twist have it end with the PC's arriving at a tavern (since that is where most adventures start). I would suggest having each player start with 2 characters and plan on a 50% mortality rate. I've been away from the game for 20 years - just learning pathfinder now - so I am not qualified to run it. If someone wants to GM, I will be the grey haired guy who has been here longer than anyone - known for loudly sharing his religious convictions with everyone.
