Replicate Character Sheet Spell Click in Macro?

Does anybody know if there is a quick and easy (or dirty and hard, your call) way to replicate the clicking of a Spell name from the Character Sheet in Macro Format?  I know most of the entries on the Character Sheet have variable names when you hover over them, but the Spells do not, it just says "cast spell".  I'm really trying to avoid re-inventing the wheel because the format the spells output in chat is just fine, but seems like if I want to avoid having to keep my Character Sheet open for the entire session (slow computer) I'm going to have to re-invent the wheel in the form of a spell macro.  Thoughts?

Hi Mike, you've come to the right place for wheel reinvention... users have produced all manner of shapes and sizes to fit a variety of vehicles game systems. Just for clarity, and to avoid assumptions, which sheet/system are you using?
In general, you can see the macro that was run after clicking the button by pressing "up" in the chat window. Essentially, clicking the button sends a macro to chat from your account, so it's in your "chat history".

Mike P. If you have a lot of spells you want to make into Macros, but don't want to clutter your interface with buttons, I suggest making each one into a character ability (Macro stored on the sheet under the Attributes and Abilities tab), and calling them with a Chat Menu . Basically, if you have a spell macro called "Fireball", and one called "Sleep", you would create a Chat Menu macro that says: [Fireball](~Fireball) [Sleep](~Sleep) If you want to get very tidy about it, and are using the official PF sheet, this will look better: &{template:npc} {{name=My Spells}} {{descflag=1}} {{desc=[Fireball](~Fireball) [Sleep](~Sleep)}} If you don't want to spam the chat, just put "/w " in front of it. Include the space.
