Creating a wandering monster table?

I'm trying to use the Random Tables option to build a wandering monster table. I realized that it would "roll" regular text results, so I've tried changing it to automatically roll the number of enemies. However, when trying to add entries like "2d4 Orcs" it'll just roll the '2' every time. Interestingly, if I were to type "/roll 2d4 Orcs" it'll roll the 2d4 properly, so it seems like the table result is going through a different syntax parser. However, I can't find a guide anywhere (the wiki doesn't explain the rolls from the results at all). Is this possible? Am I doing something wrong?

I tried about a month or so ago to do the same thing. Apparently this is not possible with the roll tables at this time. (unless something has changed). I roll on the table, it spits out the result 2d4 Orcs, then I roll /r 2d4 separately.
I'm working on an encounter table for my first Roll20 campaign. I noticed the same thing regarding entries like "2d4 Orcs". And if I don't enter any number in the entry, it just registers a 0 in the =X line. Is the table system oriented toward custom dice creation rather than encounter tables? If the table isn't able to perform a secondary roll-function to determine the number of creatures encountered, is there any way to supress the =X output at the end?
To hide the =X output, I made an inline macro looking at the table [[1t[RandomMonster]]] not sure if that helps... I would also like to throw in a vote for adding secondary dice rolls to tables.
