Recap Volandra and (the real) Kalrithni made it back to the castle, and met up with the party. The party spent the day getting ready to go to Guilds’ Town after hearing from Ma Thornberry that priests and mages and in Guilds’ Town were raising the undead. The party decided to send the master thieves to Gravy Cakes for intel, then send them along with Ailekk and Arkvall’s mages to the Mage Guild Tower in Guilds’ Town to get some info. Meanwhile, Catherine and her Dwargons left for Guilds’ Town. Urd got some potions from Dranburn. Ron attempted to use *dream* to harass Jamesyth at night. Ailekk left, and arrived scouting around the city as a thunderstorm rolled in. He found a tower where undead had taken hold and mist was coming out on the ground. He looked around and made it back to the tower. All 4 of the master thieves made it back, reporting the locations of mages and dragons, abishai and dragons, and a powerful undead presence. They didn’t get much info on the southern part of the undercity. The next day the party came with the rest of the troops. They arrived and made a plan. 1. Ailekk would visit the troops outside of the city and give them directions. 2. Catherine and her Dwargons [retcon: Celia was with her as well] would go to the location of the mages and dragons and clear out that area. 3. The Aarakocra would scour the skies to keep dragons or abishai from escaping, and would also keep an eye on the secret exit to the Thieves Guild. 4. The Shevorth, [retcon] Bonehammer orcs/tribesmen, and Kytt dragonborn would help clear undead from the south side of town. 5. The Indrasian archers, ½ of the priests/acolytes, Shevorth soldiers, mages, and apprentices would go into the town around Snakestown by the tower and start clearing out undead, with the Indrasian archers looking for high ground in case dragons tried to flee. 6. The martial arts adepts would hang back in the Mage Guild Tower to defend it. 7. Pixi and the 4 master thieves would go search the southern half of the undercity, since they got limited intelligence about it. 8. The party, ½ of the priests/acolytes, Volandra, Kalrithni, and Kaaska would head to check out the undead disturbance, trying to take it out first, before going after Jamesyth.
