Hi Josiah ! Ive got 2 different games to show you! Both are persistent open world types so you can just drop in whenever to play! Both games are from the apocalypse world games so are very beginner friendly. Feel free to drop in and check them out no pressure :) Both games have have the same basic premise. People coming together to write a cool story together. It’s up to each player to take care of the small details and character growth of their own character. New characters show up and old characters die off giving players a chance to play through different genres of characters! 1. Monsterhearts is a game about inter relationship drama mostly. All the characters are creatures like werewolves and vampires trying to fit into normal life. We actually bumped up the age so you an make a character any age from 19up. There is a bit of monster hunting and dealing with city wide events too but it’s mostly about the drama. Think Buffy or Supernatural. 2. The fate game won’t be completely gem-less, what we mean that is each gang leader gets to hand out missions and then reward players in points for playing them out. The leaders don’t get any control over the actual roleplay or anything.
All the roleplay is up to each person to organize and communicate with the other players to come up with the scene. The game will mostly be based on simple dice rolls and we as a group will roleplay what the results of the rolls mean in world. It’ll be a lot more fighting and a bit of drama.
