TORG Eternity - Possible bug in the character sheet

First, the character sheet by GM Matt is damned impressive. It clearly represents a ton of effort and makes running TORG on Roll20 a lot easier than it would be otherwise. During a combat a couple of nights ago, we ran into something that I'm a little confused by. A character made an unarmed attack vs. an opponent and was able to score an outstanding success. The base damage was 10 ( STR 8 + 2 for the brawler perk ) vs a toughness of 10 . With an "outstanding" success, there were +2 bonus dice. So far, so good. However, when the actual damage was rolled, the result was unexpected. One of the bonus dice "exploded" but the resulting values seem to be off. By my estimate, there should only have been a total of 3 bonus dice rolled: the first die (that "exploded"), the second bonus die, and a third that would have been the "re-roll" and add. Instead, I see an additional roll (of a total of 4). In addition, according to the TORG rules, the "exploded" die should only have a value of 5, not a 6. Per the Core rules (pg 115): If a Bonus Die shows the Eternity symbol (or a 6 if using a standard d6), the result is 5 and the attacker rolls again and adds it to the total. Keep rolling and adding 5 each time the eternity symbol is rolled. Is this indeed a bug, or am I missing something painfully obvious (which I admit is at least as likely as a bug... possibly more so :-p)

If I'm reading this right the die may have exploded twice.  From the wiki, here's how penetrating rolls work: Penetrating Dice (B,F)  !pCP HackMaster (and some other systems) use a special style of exploding dice where the additional rolls for each dice have 1 subtracted from the roll. To do this, add a p after the exclamation mark. A die can penetrate multiple times but the modifier is only ever -1 to each additional die. Example Compounding Dice 5d6!p  - Rolls 5d6 and explode with a -1 modifier every time a 6 is rolled 5d6!p>5  - Rolls 5d6 and explode with a -1 modifier every time a 5 or higher is rolled. I don't think R20 can make the 6 a 5 without using the API, though...  So, the 6 exploded and rolled another 6 (which resulted in a 5, but still explodes), then got a 5 (5-1=4), then the other die (3). I could be completely wrong on this, though...

Actually, I think you've nailed it. I set up a macro to just roll a single bonus die and made a large number of rolls with it (with the 3d dice turned on to give me a better visual). One roll came up a "6" which prompted a second roll which came up a "6". The total displayed in the chat window was 6 + 5 + 3. The 3d dice displayed a "6", followed by a "6".  Oddly enough, there was no 3rd die representing the final roll of "3" I think it's a good workaround until something better comes along.  Thanks!
