Hey there! I'm looking for Four(4) more players for a new 13th Age campaign set in Azeroth. This will be a weekly game that will skip one weekend a month due to my work schedule. If it is something you might be interesting in, reply here or in the listing. I'll be going over both once a day! Listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/136150/adventures-in-azeroth Game Time: 8:00PM CST Start Date: Session 0: November 10th Session 1: November 17th About The Game A 13th Age game set in the World of Warcraft universe set between Legion and Battle for Azeroth. The WoW classes are not being used or homeruled. All 13th Age classes will be used because I feel it gives players more freedom when making their characters, reskinned as appropriate. Races will be reskinned to fit as well with some homebrewed rules on a to-be-determined basis because of the wide variety in the WoW universe. I will be allowing races from either faction within reason unless the players decide to play as the members of one faction specifically. Yes, it will make things 'interesting' but those details can be discussed during Session 0 and via Discord. Stats will either be rolled with any roll below 8 rounding up to 8 or bought via the rules in the core book per player choice. A Note on Classes : I am iffy on homebrew classes but I'll take a look at what you'd like to play. The same class can be reskinned in multiple ways due to the setting while still functioning the same. Tauren paladins don't really worship the Light, for example. About the DM I'm not going into my life story or a numbered list of games I've played and run, but the important bits that you as a player need to know are here. I have plenty of years experience playing and running games but this will be my first time running a 13th Age game and running in Roll20. I'm familiar with the system but getting things done in R20 will be a learning experience for me. I'm not going to say I'm a master GM or anything silly like that but I prioritize fun and letting you play your characters. I encourage player freedom as long as it doesn't completely derail what is happening in a scene. I'd rather work with any ideas you have and prefer to let it resolve through rolls and whatever consequences come of it. I want my players to have fun, not be railroaded into generic combat scenario after generic combat scenario. Want to do something cool in combat that isn't just rolling a d20? Ask me but if it turns into a ten minute discussion, I'll likely put it on hold and try to work it out so you can do it later. What Players Do I Want? I want players who want to have fun and take the story framework I have in ways I'm not expecting. I don't have many requirements but there are a few core rules in my campaign. Communicate: This is the most important thing. Life happens and if you're going to be late or miss a session, let me know. If you have an idea for your character or something to do with the game, let me know. Be On Time: This one is the obvious one. Be on time for the game and if you can't show up, let me know. I'm not going to be holding a stopwatch and staring at the list of online players but the start time is the start time. Play Your Character: This is an odd one and not something I can really 'enforce' in a traditional sense. I'm not going to watch you like a hawk and make sure you stick to my perception of what you're playing. I won't kill players outright for straying off the path so don't be afraid to make bad decisions if it falls in line with what your character would do. Don't decide to do something because you think its what I want.
