How do I delete more than one thing at a time?

As the title says... Trying to clear up clutter for a new adventure and having to delete files one by one is very irritating.
Yes, yes it is. You don't. Roll20 staff have repeatedly made it clear they like it this way and have no intention of changing anything. There used to be a tool to help with removing / managing images you've uploaded yourself, but they specifically warn not to use it.
That... what? Why? I thought the point of Roll 20 was to make playing easier. This makes GM work so much harder. I may as well use a third party tool to organize my stuff then.

Hi Mr. Jane If you open you art library in-game, you can click on any image. This will bring up a window that will allow you to make multiple selections and mass deletions. Simply right-click to bring up the contextual menu. The tool that Phnord is referring to is deprecated but still exists. Roll20 does not encourage its use, but warns "This library management tool is deprecated and no longer supported. Using this tool may cause breaking changes to your in-app art library folder structure or other issues." The current in-game tool should handle your needs, please post again if it gives you any hiccups.

Here is the specific part of the wiki that details the functionality.

Ah, I see your actual question. I haven't tried a mass deletion in some time. Deleting from a folder does appear to move the files to Recent Uploads. It should be possible to truly delete them from Recent Uploads with a mass action, but I can see the annoyance in having to go through the process twice . I'll do some research and see what I can find.
This seems to only work artwork that I've uploaded. It doesn't include content purchased from the marketplace. I installed White Plume Mountain and Storm King's Thunder. Now I want to get rid of about 60% of that content (notes, quests, handouts, character sheets, etc.) and I'm having to do it one by one.
I stand corrected! Thanks for the info, keithcurtis. Although I'm having trouble getting either drag-to-select, or shift-select, to work for selecting multiple items. What else am I missing here?

For me, it appears that any click is a simple on-off toggle for selection on a particular item. So it would require multiple clicks. However if everything is in a folder, you can right click to select all, and then delete all. It appears that merely dumps them to the root, so you would have to do it twice (as I posted above). Still investigating, though. Phnord Prephect said: I stand corrected! Thanks for the info, keithcurtis. Hi Mr. Jane, That's something I have not previously dealt with (mass deletion of module resources). I'll see if I can get a dev to look at this for any insight. I faced the same problem with Storm King's Thunder. Creating a copy of the game and transmogrifying pieces provided a decent resolution. It's far from ideal (and I'm incredibly frustrated with roll20's decision to not remedy the problem), but it works.
Hi everyone! Regarding Journal deletion (and the image library) as it stands the lack of mass selection is an unfortunate limitation of the current implementation. This is definitely something on our radar and is one of the growing pains we must deal with in the future. I do not have an ETA on when mass selection would be available, but it is something we are acutely aware of regarding asset management and organization.

I recently went through and deleted a lot of my old uploads in my personal library, and I did find an error happened when I tried to mass select 100+ (not sure the exact number or reason) however I did find when I deleted 50 at a time that there was no issue. It took a good hour to remove old art I don't use or need (a large chunk was test uploads of my own art before it made it's way into the Marketplace). I'm unsure if the DEVs are aware of this type of error occurring, when a large chunk of assets are selected at once and deleted. If not, let them know. Again, I'm not sure the exact number or reason, but it seemed to happen +100 items at a time, and when I deleted smaller batches at a time there was no issue.
