I Can't Use Spell Effects After Purchase

I have just a regular account on here and am not a creator of a game. I am not a GM/DM, I am just a player. I was told by a DM I needed to have spell effects or spell effects tokens to play caster. I found some in the Roll20 Marketplace and purchased them, then downloaded as instructed. Everything downloaded fine, no issues. But when I went to the games I'm in to test them out, none of them show up in the thing. Apparently it only downloaded to my computer and did not download or store onto my account on Roll20 like I thought it was supposed to do. I am not a computer guru so I'm not sure how to get the spell effects from my computer folder onto my game pages. Can someone tell me? Thanks in advance.

Hi Cody, players don't have access to their image library from within a game unless they are co-GMs. What your DM will need to do is either temporarily give you co-GM status and give you a blank page for you to drop the spell effects onto so that they can then demote you and add them as a default token on a journal (bonus points for turning it into a rollable table token to allow all the effects in one journal's token) or they can co-GM you and you can use your assets to build the table/journals yourself. As long as they give you control of the journal housing the effects afterwards you'll be able to drag/drop them onto the VTT as needed in play even when back to player status. If they have an official module with Vault access granted or are a plus/pro subscribers they could also set up another game to co-GM you in if you are a spoiler risk lol... the same approach as above would work but they could move the journal(s) using the vault or rollable tables using the transmogrifier (pro needed). Long post short: The assets are available on your account, you won't need to re-upload them... you just can't access them in a game were you are only a player.
